THE DEEP CARD GAME
How do I play The Deep?
Just follow the rules that come with your game (we even printed them on the underside of the box lid so you wouldn’t lose them; we're smart like that 😉).
In a nutshell, here’s how you play:
- Select one of the five decks (each represents a topic).
- Distribute the cards to the group, face-down (no peeking!).
- The person with card #1 flips it over and reads it aloud.
- Get an initial glimpse of how people feel by conducting a blind vote (everyone votes with their eyes closed). Hot tip: Everyone should keep their hands up when they open their eyes to see how the other people voted.
- Discuss your votes (5-20 minutes per card).
- Repeat steps 3-5 with card #2, then card #3 and so on.
How many people do I need to play The Deep?
We’ve played with up to 20 people, but you can play the game with as few as 2 people.
Also: some people have told us that they’ve pulled a card every once in a while by themselves just to contemplate!
I want to sell The Deep card game in my store. Who do I contact?
Shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and our unpaid intern, Steve, will fire off a flare signal to announce your interest to the rest of us.
I love the game and want more questions! Is there an expansion pack or additional cards I can buy?

ORDERS & SHIPPING
How fast can I get my order?
You’ll see your shipping options during the checkout process, but we offer two shipping providers (FedEx and USPS), each with a variety of speeds:
- FedEx Ground (2-8 business days, depending on where you live)
- USPS Ground
- FedEx 2 day
- USPS Priority (typically 1-2 days)
- FedEx overnight
Orders placed after 3pm ET / 12pm PT will ship out by the following business day. Orders placed on Friday after 3pm ET / 12pm PT will ship out the following Monday.
Days refers to business days and does not include Saturday, Sundays, or holidays.
Is COVID causing any delays?
Due to COVID-19, Fedex/USPS may be operating with delays of 1-3 days on top of already defined transit times. Certain locations, especially larger cities, are experiencing additional delays due to labor shortages. During the holiday season, shipping carrier delays may be even longer due to high volume.
We will will do everything possible to deliver your order as quickly as possible. However, some of these factors are unfortunately out of our control, so we appreciate your understanding during these unusual times.
Do you offer gift wrap?
Yes! When you click on your shopping cart, you'll see a checkbox with the ability to add gift wrap for $10. Gift wrapped items come in a beautiful, matte black magnetic closure box, and are tied with black grosgrain ribbon. If you'd like more than one item gift wrapped, please adjust the gift wrap quantity in your shopping cart.
NOTE: If you'd like to include a gift message, you can do that in the shopping cart as well.
Can I ship the game internationally?
At this time, we do not offer international shipping; however, we are working on this capability and will update our community as soon as it becomes available!
Can I change or cancel my order?
If you would like to change or cancel an order, please contact The Deep’s team at firstname.lastname@example.org. *Please note that once an order has been shipped, we cannot modify or cancel it.*
How can I contact customer service about my order?

I made a purchase through Amazon. Should I email you?
Nope. If you bought something from Amazon, you can contact them here.
What is your return policy?
Unless the item arrived with moderate to severe damage or the order was incorrect, all sales are final and may not be returned, cancelled, or exchanged. If the item is damaged or the incorrect item was received, please email us within seven (7) days of receiving your order at firstname.lastname@example.org. In that email, please provide your name, order number, a description of the problem, and a photograph of the damaged/incorrect item received.
If your order qualifies for a return or exchange, we will send you a prepaid shipping label for you to return the damaged or incorrect item to us. Once we receive the item(s), we will ship out the replacement item(s) as soon as possible. If the item(s) are out of stock, we will ship them to you as soon as inventory is restocked.
